New Orleans Archdiocese agrees to remove discriminatory questions from its admissions applications

A few months after Chris Edmunds Law Office filed a class-action lawsuit against the Archdiocese of New Orleans for its discriminatory admissions applications, the Archdiocese agreed to remove the offending questions. The admissions applications asked prospective students to list any disabilities, in violation of Louisiana law. The Archdiocese later informed the court that it has removed these questions from its applications of the schools it directly operates and has recommended to all other Catholic schools in its territory to do the same.
